[ad_1]

The NASDAQ-listed Goodyear develops, manufactures, and sells tires for cars, trucks, busses, aircraft, and earthmoving and mining and industrial equipment in 48 facilities in 21 countries. The company earned $US17.5 billion in revenue in 2021, more than leading Australian companies such as Commonwealth Bank of Australia and National Australia Bank.

Mr Markus Mueller, co-founder of The Australian Bond Exchange, said, “We are delighted to experience strong demand for this bond opportunity that is not usually available in Australia. Goodyear is a leading global consumer discretionary company. This bond can help introduce sector diversification to any investment portfolio. The bond linked security was created specifically with Australian private investors in mind and has the feature that it is issued in Australian dollars with coupons and capital repayment in $AUD eliminating foreign exchange rate exposure. This is the third issue of its kind ABE has done in Australia. The earlier two being bonds linked to Xerox and Jaguar Land Rover.”

These are the key bond details: C2 Bond Linked security, 4.5%p.a. fixed rate, 5 year note with coupons paid half yearly and ABE enhancing liquidity via secondary market.
